Under general direction of the Fire Chief, the Deputy Chief of Administration is responsible for the development of the department’s annual budget, assists in short- and long-term strategic planning and provides general oversight of the department’s Community Safety Division. The Deputy Chief of Administration directs human resource activities, the development and implementation of policies and procedures and recruitment and hiring practices.
All purchases and budget management are managed from this division.
